Vanessa Segundo

Vanessa Segundo is a Director at Social Contract. Vanessa leads a team with a strong focus on community safety work while providing strategic direction across projects. Vanessa previously served as a Senior Consultant with Social Contract, leading projects that help public agencies, nonprofits, and funders drive data-informed change. A former educator, Vanessa leverages data as a catalyst for collaboration and collective problem-solving–centering community voice, shifting narratives, and advancing fair and transformative outcomes. Her experience spans housing access, inclusive education systems, and public health, with a focus on turning insights into meaningful action. Vanessa holds a Ph.D. in Education from UC Davis and lives in Chicago with her husband and two sons.
